Laid out a three-part email nurture series in Figma for Thermo Fisher's Life Sciences division, guiding academic and government researchers through a key imaging technique. Structured the send sequence, section hierarchy, and CTAs across all three emails, reformatted existing animated banner assets to fit the email format, and brought all three into Photoshop to export as GIFs for email compatibility.
Orientation: Introduced the technique conceptually, pairing a beam-and-detector visual with a rendered protein structure and offering a new eBook with a built-in decision tree for researchers still deciding whether it fits their work.
Proof: Shifted from "what is it" to "what can it do," showcasing three real discoveries made possible by the technology — tied to infectious disease, drug discovery, and neurodegeneration research — each with its own CTA so readers could self-select into the area most relevant to them. Referencing the original research data behind each image added credibility, rather than relying on generic stock visuals. For this email's banner, I took the source animation from an existing product page, restructured it in After Effects, and removed the instrument to keep the focus on the molecular structure itself.
Activation: Converted interest into action with concrete resources: a facility locator, hands-on access and training, and funding support — lowering the practical barriers to getting started. For this email's banner, I fixed the background in Photoshop, then brought the northern lights animation and structure visual into After Effects to build the final animated composite — closing the visual loop with the first email.
