Cleared for Takeoff — GenPac Drones
General Pacific is an authorized distributor of DJI, Autel, and Responder Air products in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in enterprise and commercial drones. This was a total custom build, and I served as the main designer on the site — leading the Design Discovery and Layout Proposal kickoff call, designing the site from the ground up using Adobe Illustrator, XD, and Photoshop, and preparing final assets for development. It was a fun, new kind of project for me: I had real creative freedom to design the site how I wanted, while staying true to GenPac's branding guidelines.
GenPac needed a site that could hold its own against competitors in the enterprise drone space, with e-tailing functionality that made ordering products feel intuitive. The site also needed to be easy to navigate and fully mobile responsive. I led kickoff and discovery, designed the site from scratch with a full custom layout, solved for intuitive product ordering and navigation, and prepped all assets for developer handoff. The client loved the final layout.
This project came together with a great team: art direction by Anna Stopa, project management by Sarah Nelson, web development by Nathaniel Robertson, and management support from Brian Aloisi.
